Our Venues

The 90 seat black box theatre is located in the basement of the Sullivan Building, at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Loring Avenues. Entrance is located next to the Sophia Gordon Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ·, on 114 East (352 Lafayette Street).Park onÌýthe streetÌýor in theÌýlot on College Drive, immediately after Meier Hall.

The Ellison Campus Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· is located on North Campus directly behind the Sophia Gordon Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· for Creative and Performing Arts and next to the Frederick E. Berry Library and Learning Commons. It houses the Winfisky Gallery and many of our creative writing events are hosted here. Park onÌýthe streetÌýor in the lot on College Drive, immediately after Meier Hall.

Salem State is home to a state-of-the art glassblowing studio. Public demonstrations are held in the studio at various times throughout the year as well as during the Rosenberg Glass Artists Residency held annually in the summer.

The Glassworks Studio is located in the Enterprise Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ·.Ìý

Many of our dance workshops and programs are held in the O'Keefe Complex located at 225 Canal Street. Dance performances also take place in the Sophia Gordon Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ·. Parking is available in the O'Keefe Complex lot for evening and weekend dance events at O'Keefe.

The 165 seat Recital Hall is located on the ground floor ofÌýtheÌýCentral Campus Classroom Building, 71ÌýLoring Avenue (Route 1A).Ìý

Guests of arts events taking placeÌýin the Recital HallÌýare welcome to park in the lot locatedÌýon Loring Ave. ,Ìýnext to the Salem Diner and directly across from the entrance to 71 Loring Ave.

The Winfisky Gallery is located Ìýon the ground floor of the Ellison Campus Â鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· (North Campus). Gallery hours are 10 am-4pm, Monday through Friday or by appointment. Call: 978.542.7890 for additional information.
