Teaching a class with a Gen Ed designation provides an opportunity to view both your syllabus content and student experiences through a fresh lens. One way to enter this mindset is by considering your “Essential Takeaways” for students - especially non-majors - in the class. This interactive session will include time to reflect on your own course within the framework of your course’s SSU Gen Ed category criteria as well as to draft the new matrix requirement for syllabi.
